think youre having a Wenger "I didn't see it" moment. The media have had a crush on your club for decades.

The derby came too soon for us. Takes time for new players to bed in. Who said you were in crisis? You lost your first game. That's it. It's early days for everyone. As for the Italian league it ain't what it used to be. We played Lazio last season in the Europa when they were top of the league in Serie A and they weren't up to much. We had three perfectly good goals disallowed as well. We've also recently beaten both of the Milan teams as well.

As for the media love in with United and that a pile of poo too. The media's love-in is with Mourinho.

Came too soon? Behave. You didn't have a threat on goal. Same old excuses being trotted out. Italian league ain't what it used to be? Really? Maybe its because you bought players that are "unproven" in the Prem like Ozil, and we didn't even have him in the side that beat you. As for who said we were in crisis, the wonderful British media banging on about losing at home to Villa, no signings blah blah blah, Wengers lost it, yada yada yada. Fcuk knows what they would have said if we'd spent the amount Tottnum did, and were only 3rd in the league, and I don't recall any remarks of that nature being directed at Moyes paucity of signings. Early days yes, but I think the way we've responded to the loss is magnificent. And all that with no Cazorla, Podolski, Theo, Ox, and Diaby. What a paper thin squad we've got, bound to fail.

Cor, you don't half get carried away dontcha. We're only a few games in. Fair play to the Wanderers they've lost one game all season. So have we. Everton though are unbeaten, yet they are fourth and we're both above them. Nothing is settled in October.

Oh and you spent more than us. Ozil 45m. Spurs spent 100m and recouped it by selling Bale. So we spent fack all.

One interesting fact regarding the fixtures Woolwich have played this season in the PL is that they gained 3 points more from them last season. That could be construed as taking a backward step but I wouldn't say that.

I was going to congratulate PD on getting through a series of posts without using the word 'unproven' but alas he let me down.

By the way it's not an intersting fact as you seem to think, as it's been quoted on nearly every sport related site that I've seen in the last 48 hours .

The fact that we had only 9 points after 6 games last season and were 7th is something you glaringly failed to mention as did most of these sites. But don't let a fact get in the way of your point eh?

Only if I start supporting Yanited or Sperz.

Agreed nothging is settled in October, and I don't think I've said that previously. As for carried way, I can just imagine how you Sperz fans would have reacted IF you'd beaten us. The interesting thing about the Bale thing is that your special relationship with Real facilitated his sale to us which we funded in part by off loading tens of players surplus to requirements.

Yeah, we off-loaded quite a few too. We're still very much a work in progress and of course I'd have been delighted with a Spurs win at the Effiminates and probably would have had a bit of a gloat too. It's only natural when you've got bragging rights over your local rivals isn't it.

As for our "special relationship" with Real Madrid, the sooner that agreement is ripped up the better.

Anyway, looking forward to 5pm. I quite like ITV4 on Thursdays. Even Liverpool can't say that.

Yes. I've just seen the result. It is one of the reasons why I never said anything before the game because it usually has a habit of biting me on the arse. Looks like I didn't need to say anything anyway and thank fack I didn't. You Hammers must be in seventh heaven. I'm happy for you after the shit season you've had so far. I shall be picking the bones out of our poxy performance after MOTD tonight, though it'll make gruesome viewing. Glad I wasn't at the Lane today. All I can say is thank god the Wanderers didn't win either, despite picking up an away point at WBA. Like I said the other day. It's only early days and Spurs are a work in progress. Still gutted though. Enjoy your day in the sun because that is the best result you will get all season.

Nah, he's still a dick - just obviously been reading the forum http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,1158228,1178878#msg-1178878

"plan C - we're going to play like Barcelona "sans striker". .. must have decided it was worth a shot as nothing else had worked.

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
