I just bought 2 fantastic olive trees (olea europaea - delivered yesterday 5 Sept) and am looking to buy a third one, they are on sale at the moment, but they only come in pairs, so I am looking to find someone to take one off my hands at cost price.  The trees are in their original supplier pots and have a plant passport, the trunks are about twice the diameter of those in garden centres.   The trees are half price at the moment at £225 for a pair, so I am happy to sell at cost price £112.50 (no offers!) - I think locally they would be twice the price.   The 2 I've purchased are still in their supplier pots and you are welcome to look.

    • You could try Celia Hammond on Lewisham Way in New Cross, but call them first.
    • i think I have seen that animal rescue charities can use old towels/sheets etc. Can anyone give me the address of one that I can donate them to - or do they collect?

Kids are sick from time to time.  We all were.  We all are occasionally.  Unless there is a serious outbreak of a bug that can potentially hospitalise a lot of people, then public health will not get involved. For your own benefit you can always visit the cafe and check out their scores on the doors food safety rating and if they are not displaying one, question why. A few years ago there was a large e coli outbreak at the Glastonbury festival, cows graze the land and some festival goers were not being too hygienic.  A reminder to us all to wash our hands etc.  with COVID this should be second nature
