Tesco Express on East Dulwich Road closed?

Does anyone know what is happening with Tesco Express on East Dulwich Road next to the Esso petrol station? It has been fenced off and closed for a week. No signs of it reopening. 

Its my local store so hoping it hasn't permenantly closed.

I am guessing refurbishing, they had a sign it's closed into 10 Oct (I think that was the date)

Hopefully it will be closed forever. Tesco has an appalling record on everything and anything ethical. The whole building is a disgrace. People upstairs (like everyone) should be properly housed whilst the site is entirely dismantled, rebuilt, and then they should be able to move back in to far higher quality accommodation. The ground floor needs to be opened up for a series of independent outlets rather than just a rather cr×ppy corporate convenience chain store. Let's see if Southwark's amoebas can work that one out.

Refurb/ refit. It's supposed to reopen 15th October.
