Need a BMW approved garage (not BMW themselves) to check out a car

Hi

I have just bought an old BMW from an independent dealer. The car comes with a short warranty on it and I wanted to get it checked over by someone used to maintaining BMW's to make sure it really is ok. BMW would do it but they charge a fortune. Can anyone recommend a garage where they have had their BMW serviced etc and which is reliable and honest.

Not BMW approved but Turners on Barry Road are good for most cars.

Ps. I'm not a BMW owner but is there such a thing as an approved BMW non dealer garage ? Not sure.

Thanks Mick. Ill give them a call. There are BMW approved garages in terms of insurance - so if you need repairs

doing under your insurance certain garages are authorised to repair BMW, Ford etc. So I think I am really looking for one of those, but Ill give Turners a call.
