Best charity shop for man’s suit?

Hi, my son is looking for a purple suit - he’s 5 ft 9inch - does anyone have one gathering dust, or can you recommend which charity shops stock suits? Thanks!

You could try the online charity shops. They often have an Ebay presence etc

I think a waist and chest measurement may be more helpful in finding a fit.

finding a purple suit at all is a long shot never mind at a charity shop.

I'd advise he looks on Ebay Depop or Vinted

Vinted is probably your best bet in finding something if none of the local shops have anything. Traid and Crisis in Peckham have fairly big men’s sections so that might be worth a look.

 

I do have a purple suit gathering dust, but sadly the wrong size. 

Mine was used by my son for various Halloween /book day costumes over a couple of years but is only age 10 size.   

Is it a purple suit to dress up as joker for Halloween?  If so we managed to find a second hand white linen suit which I dyed, so that could be an option too for you to look out for.   If it’s for something a lot more smarter, just ignore me!

Oxfam have an online site and you can filter by size, colour etc requirements.

Returns are also easy if it doesn't fit or isn't suitable.
