Roof repairer wanted

Are you/do you know a reliable, reasonable local roofer with the necessary accreditation?

In January, I'll be completing on a house purchase on the SE22/SE23 border. The survey has highlighted that repairs to the roof are necessary. Dormer felt roofs need replacing, flashings need repairing/replacing (with soakers added), chimney pots need capping, parapet walls and chimney stacks need repointing/rendering, moss/lichen needs removing, rainwater good need repairing/replacing, a new breathable sarking membrane needs fitting with remnants of foam insulation being removed.

If the attached images aren't enough to provide a quote, then a site visit can be arranged.

Work can be scheduled at a mutually agreeable date post-completion.

Thanks in advance

Richard

Happy to help. Would be great to arrange a site visit for an informal discussion and quotation.

You can check reviews about my company.

    • That explanation sounds highly unlikely!  Surely the "days of the week" plates must be a standard size. I know Royal Mail often appears incompetent, but it  couldn't be that stupid, surely. Was it 1 April?!
    • Looking for a short length of electric (twin & earth)  lighting cable. Most likely there could be some in a skip near you??
    • Southwark's recycling guidance says to put shredded paper in the blue bin in a paper envelope or "small box". I've got far too much of it for that  (confidential stuff going back decades) - thanks to the EDF member who kindly gave me a shredder! It would be a "massive box". I have barely started  the shredding, and I've already got an extremely large bagful.   I've read online that you can put it into  large clear plastic bags in the bin for paper,  provided you  clearly label it "shredded paper" and it is obvious what it is. Does anybody know if Southwark would accept it like that? Alternatively, can anyone make use of it for animal bedding or packaging material or adding to  compost?
    • I'm happy to report that some foxgloves are now looking great in my garden. The bees are loving them. Also managed to grow some corn poppies from seed. I've left some decaying logs in the corner so maybe there are some stag beetles there.
