Do you need a laugh? - Funny 'Scummy mummies' podcast by local comedian mums

Recommended Posts

Hello Mums and Dads,

Are you in need of a good laugh?

Scummy Mummies is the podcast for less-than-perfect parents. Comedians Helen Thorn and Ellie Gibson (from Forest Hill) discuss a range of topics relevant to modern mums and dads, from culture and current affairs to farting and fish fingers.

Listeners have said:

"Hilarious ladies!!! You have made me laugh so much at the things we mothers have to go through everyday!!"

"I haven't laughed so much in ages. Can't wait for the next one. Btw, the worst thing my child has eaten this week is chocolate icing....off my shoe."

Our first Scummy Mummies Podcast went to number one on the iTunes Kids & Family chart. And the second episode has just been released!

    • Friend recommends Penge Cycle Club.  Southwark Cyclists usually do two social cycle rides on Saturday, you don't need to be a member (London Cycling Campaign) but recommended.  They are advertised on the What's On section of EDF. And you can go on their other Borough group rides, Lewisham Cyclists often do long rides. Generally very cycle friendly around here, despite occasional on line hostility.

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
