I never knew what happened to Ton Slattery after the brilliant improvisation comedy show Whose line is it anyway? For those old enough you'll remember it was a mix of American and British comedians hosted by Clive (forgotten surname)... just read he sadly developed mental health issues that impacted his ability to work but that he'd had much better last few years and been doing comedy tours again in the UK. His partner is fundraising for the funeral but as he remains special to many who grew up watching that show he's got far more than the original target amount. His partner and he had been together 40 years. Amazing and heartwarming love...

Saw him in the West End theatre many years ago.  He was just starting a revival in recent times.  Sad news.
