East dulwich
Hi, I need to verify/certify two European passports for a property sale. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the area that is low-cost for this service? thank you! CPR Dave
I had some copies of documents certified at the post office on Lordship Lane. Cost about £12 I think. paddyp7
if that fails try a local notary person - search notary east dulwich - I used a notary service near Oxo building on southbank for 2 EU passport renewals - same day service but a little pricy. Good luck Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/357901-document-certification/#findComment-1698212 Share on other sites
East dulwich
Hi Paddy, also really helpful and much appreciated. The post office service in Lordship Lane today was great and very straightforward but I may need a notary for other documents so thank you very much - I will look into it. Dogkennelhillbilly
Notarisation is rather expensive in England and Wales, unfortunately, because not many lawyers bother to cross-qualify and the requirements to become a notary are quite onerous. Sally Eva
any solicitor can do it. You need certified copies of all sorts of things to "prove" wills. Cost me about £5 per copy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/357901-document-certification/#findComment-1698570 Share on other sites
