Nero
Chav, Mebbe you also read the Guardian article last week about how people think that if they recycle their mags and give their old clothes to charity, and not forget to switch off the telly at night etc. then they are doing their bit for the environment and all is well. The writer argued that these things have a very, very small effect, and that other things like consuming much less, flying much less and cutting down on driving is more important. NeroIt only has a very small effect if you're judging on an individual basis. Leaving your phone charger plugged in 24/7, 365 day p y will, in monetary terms save you ?3 a year (god knows how much energy that is!). But if the whole nation did it... ChavWivaLawDegree
Nero - these ideas filter through even to chavs like me without having to read The Guardian - I've been in the Green Party for the past 5 years and did Envitonmental Law in my 3rd year at Uni, so that may have helped.
