jenc
I've used an Ergo baby with the newborn insert to start with and it's been brilliant, really easy to put on and very comfortable. I've never been myself but the South London sling library is meant to be good for trying out different ones. devsdev
Definitely go to the sling library. Emily is brilliant. I used a Close, which I loved. But I got given that and then bought a Manduca for 5/6 months onwards. If you want one sling only then something like Ergo with insert or Manduca (newborn insert is integral) will be suitable till toddler years. Good luck with everything! Bloomchen
I second the Maduca. I got my sister's and it's not only a life saver it's also great for baby's spine and hip development!
