  1. I find the people in that shop very unfriendly and particularly useless when it comes to children's shoes and measuring their feet! I asked about soft first walkers and was directed towards proper toddler shoes. Needless to say we didn't try on anything in there. I too can recommend EM and gently elephant. Both know how to measure little feet and make sensible shoe recommendations.
  2. Our German toddler group H?nsel und Gretel invites to celebrate the German Carnival season. On February 16th we will open our doors at the St Faith Centre. From 3pm to 5pm we will play German carnival songs and play carnival games. There will be some food and drinks. So get your costumes out and join us! Entry is 2.50 per adult or a stamp on your H?nsel und Gretel membership card. Address: St Faith Centre Red Post Hill, London SE24 9JQ Parents will be responsible for their children.
  3. No experience whatsoever but why don't you take him to the osteopath? They can check his muscles and alignment. Who knows maybe it didn't heal properly?
  4. Too true! Part of the idea of Childspace is the parents provide vegetarian lunches which introduces the little ones to a great variety of foods. Not to mention the aspect of communal meal times.
  5. Childspace is a parent-run co-operative in a lovely bright roundhouse with access to a garden just off Brockwell Park, Tulse Hill. Parents are involved in every aspect of running the nursery and take on a variety of jobs providing stimulating and creative play. We run small intimate sessions of only 7 children from the age of 14 months to 3 years. Each session is run by a fully trained nursery manager and one of the parents takes turns and works as a nursery assistant alongside our manager. Childspace is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-2pm. If you are looking for a warm and stimulating environment for your child and would love to get involved in a parent run nursery get in touch with us and arrange a viewing: [email protected] www.childspace.org
  6. Messy Play at Bessemer is now on a Friday morning starting at 10am. You have to be on time to get in though as it fills up quickly.
  7. Can only recommend a Wishbone bike or a Likeabike mini! Not cheap though but well worth the money.
  8. Hi everyone, Can you recommend a nice baby yoga class? I have a 4 months old and would like to introduce him to the wonderful world of yoga. Do you know anywhere nice in ED?
  9. I second the Maduca. I got my sister's and it's not only a life saver it's also great for baby's spine and hip development!
  10. Claire runs breastfeeding workshops I believe every Wednesday from 9am to 1pm at the Dulwich Hopital in the family room. They are for free and you could just go there or try to catch her afterwards.
  11. Hi everyone, I also have a June baby - little Oscar. We were wondering if you guys are still meeting up on Monday and if yes when and where? It would be lovely to meet other moms and babies! Cheerio
