ipad screen replacement

Any tips? Got an ipad 4 with a cracked screen and I am keen to get it fixed!

You can't fix it - iPad store only replace iPad as a whole and it costs the price of a new one !! I smashed my iPad mini and they asked ?350 so I just bought a new one

any phone place in rye lane will change the screen for about ?25, i take it the screen still lights up .the one at the end in he old bargian centre is really good .

It cost me ?40 to replace an iPhone 4 screen so am surprised that an iPad screen would a fair bit less that than that. Where abouts exactly is the place you mean, pps?

Search dannyleedixon on this forum. He replaces iphone & ipad screens and lives/works in Peckham, so very close. I find him reliable, friendly and really, really reasonable. Nigello - you were done for ?40.

Three places quoted me ?40, so I thought that was the going rate. Quotes in town were at least ?50. Will be happy - and surprised - if I could get it done for ?25. Anyone else got a better rate?

My ipad screen was broken too. I took it to apple store to get fixed they said it couldn't. All I could do was hand in Broken one pay ?199 for a new one.

My response was "what so you can fix the broken screen and sell it refurbished" he didn't know what to say.

After I found out lots of places in peckham fix screens for ?45.
