Breast Cancer Awareness Questionnaire please spare two minutes to fill it in or share, thank you (men too!)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My wife is a mature student studying Graphic Design. For her Final Major Project she has decided to produce an information campaign focusing on Breast Cancer Awareness.

You may not know, but this also affects men, so it is not a gender specific questionnaire.

All responses will be kept anonymous and will be used to shape how she goes about creating her work.

If you or anyone you know has been for screening (or yet to do so), or been affected by Breast Cancer, please kindly share the link with them.

You can probably complete the form faster than it took you to read this message 😊

Thank you very much!

Why do people say this. You want to say something you can  share with me or you don't .

It was a specific technical comment re the wording of the questionnaire and its likely effect on the results.

It was of no concern to anybody else.

I posted saying that I had PMed because people don't necessarily see that someone has sent a PM.

I thought it was important to feed it back given that the questionnaire was part of someone's major project.

But I'm not sure why you seem to have taken this so personally! It has absolutely nothing to do with you!

I would say I dont know how often I go for breast screening , it's just when I get invited.  Perhaps your questionnaire can set out when that is?

You can Google to find out how often you will be invited for breast screening. It depends on your age.

Here you go:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/breast-screening-mammogram/when-youll-be-invited-and-who-should-go/

If you are over 71 you won't be automatically invited, but you can request a screening.

It's all explained in the link above.

    • I would recommend the Dulwich Test and Service centre that used to be in Hindemanns road and then moved to the little Trading Estate off Tyrrel Road. I've used them very happily for nearly 40 years. Paul and Reg Shires.
    • Such a shame as Dells is fantastic - a decent local business providing a great service to residents.
    • Ha ha that's hilarious - how wonderfully embarrassing for Reform!
    • Closing down completely. The lovely people there are all retiring. Thanks, but Deptford is a long way to go to make two journeys to  take and collect a car! Do they not do even relatively minor repairs if it fails its MOT first time? Then that would require four journeys 😭 Wondering if there's already a thread on here for garage recommendations? People on my road WhatsApp group have recommended some local ones. I'm particularly gutted because apart from the lovely people who worked there,  Dell was a five minute walk for me!
