Have you lost someone to the internet? Do you feel someone you love is spending too much time on their computer or mobile phone? Have you found it hard to speak to them about this? We are a group of independent TV producers, we are in the process of researching for a new multiplatform project about internet usage and we want to hear about your story. Please send us a brief description--one paragraph will do--about the person you are worried about to the following email address: info@stopstart.tv

Please make sure to include details about you and the person you are worried about. You do not have to use their real name.

Why stop at the internet ? What about media overload - Surely constant viewing of corry, eastenders, X factor etc is as bad as twitter, facebook, reddit, xbox.... It's just that we find couchpotatoism more acceptable than gluing yourself to your table, phone, PC, console...

My wife spends her life facebooking, tweeting, instagramming, whattsapping where as I would you tube, wiki and research for interest (with a bit of PS3ing in between) - 2 sides of the same coin. I like to learn (really hate none educational media no matter how its packaged) where as my wife likes the relax and consume media content.
