Disneyland Paris

Thinking of booking a trip here for half term with our 3 young children. Just looked at the website and it looks hugely expensive to stay at one of the hotels on site. Has anyone visited? Any tips gratefully received.

We stayed just outside Disney, a stop away on the train, 3 mins or so. It was self catering and nothing to do with Disney. Like this

Val d'Europe is a little suburb with cafes, a shopping centre and not at Disney prices. We were able to go back to apartment and cook out own tea, make up lunches for the park etc. Have a look.

i stayed with my husband and 1 year old this feb at one of the Disney hotels, Newport bay fc. The hotel is directly outside disney village which leads into the main disney park so very convenient especially when my daughter was tired plus when i was tired as it meant only had to push the buggy down the road to get to the hotel.

Another vote for Val d'Europe. They have a shuttle to the park so easy to get to in just a few minutes.

Only negative was no room service. Worth it though as we saved a small fortune. We booked via Trivago.com and drove over.
