Animals at Home - Crystal Palace & Dulwich

If anyone is thinking of using Ian Bell from Animals at Home for any pet related duties, please do not. He is not fit to look after animals. Left our pets in a terrible state when we went away on holiday and now won't admit any guilt and won't issue a refund. Avoid at all costs.

This sounds awful. How were they in a terrible state?

Have you left them with other people caring for them before and they were fine?

I just ask because I once put a cat into a cattery for the first (and only) time and when we went to collect him he was shivering in fright, clearly hadn't been eating and was very pleased to see us. But I'm not sure it was the cattery which was to blame.

I realise that's different to leaving animals in your own home with someone coming in.

Ian walks our dog every day and also takes her to his house for one full day each week. Whenever we go on holiday she stays with him at his house. We have never had any problems whatsoever and our dog loves him to bits (which is clear when we see them together). I would recommend Ian to anyone looking for a dog walker / sitter in this area.

He knows his trade, and he does it really well. These are just a few of the reasons why we and many others recommend him so highly.  Steve & Meg
    • I am no expert, but are your photos not saved in Google or similar, as well as being on your physical  phone? If so, you should just be able to access them on your new phone without actually having to move them over? Same with emails, normally, you just have to sign into your email account on your new phone to access them? Not sure re contacts, but I don't recall having any problems when getting a new phone. And apps you can just reinstall. Google or something like ChatGPT could probably "talk" you through sorting, deleting and editing photos and emails, if you can't find someone to help (sorry I can't, I'd be too worried about doing something wrong!) Good luck! Don't delete anything from your old phone until you are sure it's on your new phone!
