Good quality mini garden glass greenhouse (approx 1.8m x 1m x 0.5m)

Offering this well used mini garden greenhouse to a good home. Ideal for seedlings, hardening off and plants requiring lots of warmth, particularly if you only have a small space for growing.

£40 only - original price was something like £500 3-4 years ago so this is an absolute bargain!

You're welcome to come and take a look at this before taking it - but please no time wasters. I will not hold this for you whilst you are deciding, if there are others who want it.

Dimensions:

1m wide
52cm deep
178cm high at the back
165cm high at the front (roof sloping to front)

These are approx dimensions - my ground is not even so likely they are not 100% accurate.

Features:

Aluminium frame
Toughened glass panels
Sliding glass roof opening
Sliding glass doors
A two piece horizontal glass shelf divides the space into two (top and bottom), but can be removed to grow taller plants (e.g. tomatoes)
4 removable slatted metal shelves (2 deep, 2 shallow - staggered when fitted to maximise use of space)
Hose attachment on the outside with a mister nozzle inside (never used so cannot vouch for it working)

Misc:

This is designed to be fixed to a fence/wall for support
I've never fixed it in place and it's been very sturdy with a fence behind it - would not advise leaving it completely freestanding with space on every side in case it blows over
Probably needs a bit of a clean - I will brush out any debris but you will have to clean it yourself if you think it's required
All glass panels are easily removed
I have 1 spare glass panel which I will also give you in case of any breakage

Transportation:

Ideally to be collected from SE22 9BG
If you do not have access to appropriate transport I can help locally if you cover the cost of hiring a small van on an evening/weekend (zip van or other - I won't take responsibility for any breakage during transport)
Would advise not taking apart the frame if possible (I may or may not be able to find assembly instructions)
Can remove some/all of the glass and easily carry this through our house

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
