Hello,

We have recently moved to the Nunhead area, on Athenlay Road towards the Honor Oak end. I'm hoping to find some play dates for my daughter who is 19 months locally and also meet some new mums/dads. I work 2.5 days a week but we are always free on Mon & Tues and some Fridays too so if anyone is around with a child of a similar (ish) age and would like to meet up in the park / dish & spoon / garden then let me know.

I know there are quite a few things on at Ivydale school, are there any other groups nearby that people would recommend?

Thanks v much

Hi and Welcome!

There is so much on for toddlers, you will have problems to narrow it down and fit everything in:)

My son is 18 months and we are always around on a Friday if you would like to meet?

There is also always lots of mums with toddlers at the dish and spoon cafe and they are always chatty.

Send me a PM if you would like to meet up.

    • Those studies are ten years old. I wonder if there is anything more recent. Also, I haven't looked at them, but from what you say,  the studies apparently asked people if THEY thought they were "racially prejudiced". For several  reasons, on the face of it that isn't likely to produce an accurate indication of the level of actual racial prejudice in that sample. Also, how was "racial prejudice" defined? And "racist attitudes"?
    • I'd say hold on to it in case you need it. There may be a time when it helps you get around more easily. You'd know if that's easily done, if you've got somewhere to park it etc
