Tried Janda. Hits and some misses. Chicken Satay & Beef Rendang were excellent and spot on. Stir fried rice noodles (Kuay Teow) were unexpectedly swimming in a peanut sauce and sadly very overcooked.
They were absolutely swamped though (assume because of the excellent recent review) so wonder if quality was affected by that… would definitely go again and try more things, menu was full of interesting sounding dishes.

Is it necessary to book at Janda on a weekday evening?

Went to Janda last night - it was a toss up between this and En Root and Janda won the toss! We booked on the day and it was pretty rammed, so booking advisable. Review to follow, but yes, we enjoyed it. Bit noisy because it was full.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
    • It's firework season now up until early Jan 2026. Starting with celebrating the failure of terrorist Guy Fawkes on November 5th! BOOM!
