Oh no, sorry to hear this, CWO. I once left GM’s with a hole in my extremely thick hair. But this wasn’t my worst haircut which came courtesy of the now-defunct Galleon where I got a proper 1980’s mullet. 

It is getting very rare now to get a hairdresser who has actually  gone to hairdressing college. A lot of them are walk-ins who just get trained on the job. They’re not hairdressers - just people with a pair of scissors in their hands. When I used to go to GM’s 15 years ago, the girl who used to cut my hair was the only one out of all the staff who had gone to hairdressing college (she then left and that is how I ended up with a bad haircut)

Kuki always gets excellent reviews here so I’d try them. And l’ll see if I can share my hairdresser’s details.

The GM's in Dulwich has been gone for around 3 years, so the most recent post must be about the Crystal Palace branch, I presume the same staff moved over?

I've been going to Tash at Kuki for a while, never had a problem.

I've never had a bad cut and have sent friends there who've had cuts and colour and remained regulars..The staff are all properly trained and are technically excellent cutters ...I know..I was a Vidal Sasoon hair model in the 80's and as a result I am very fussy about who I go to.

Toby is wonderful but friends have been to other stylists and colourists there and are very happy.

Its a nice enviroment and I like that the team listen to what I want and give good advice too.

Looking at the prices - !!!!  my cut and blow dry usually costs me less than £25  with lowlights around £60.  Adam in Forest Hill is a qualified hair dresser with many years experience.
