For anyone looking for a fantastic painter/decorator I cannot recommend Lee (Linford Pryce) enough. He did an absolutely incredible job when he completely transformed the front of our house ? the window frames and paintwork were in a terrible state with lots of damage. Our house now looks amazing! Lee is a true perfectionist and is very good at understanding clients? needs.

Email is [email protected] and his mob is 07904 740381.

Cheers,

Anna

I second this.

Lee was recommended by a friend in the area. Our job was indoors: fixed some plastering and repainted loo, stairs, sitting room, skirtings etc. lovely guy, really is a perfectionist, clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Highly recommend him. He will definitely be our first choice for any future jobs.

Another recommendation for Lee, from me. I got him to sort out the internal decoration of my living room after a leak left a crack in the ceiling and the walls needing attention. His estimate was fair, I thought. He advised on paint type/finish and took it in his stride when the plaster started falling of the walls during the job! He arranged the replastering for a very fair sum and completed the redecoration to an excellent standard, within the original budget. He even found time to do a small extra job that I dropped on him once he was on site, cheerfully and for a fair price. If I need a decorator again (highly likely!) he will be the first one I contact.

A few years after we got Lee to help we asked him back for a bigger project, and he's still just as much a perfectionist and just as much a gentleman. Such a nice guy and a very good decorator. Painted pretty much the entire house, and great value too, highly recommend him. Big thank you Lee.

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
