Swimming lessons

My husband wants to start taking our ds (17 months) to swimming lessons on a Saturday. Does anyone have any recommendations?

We love the toddler swimming lessons at JAGS on a Saturday morning but I think you've just missed the sign up date.

We go to The Crystal Palace National Sports Centre for lessons, it's great and generally I think you can sign up at any time if there's space.

Pickle, can they touch the floor at the one at Crystal Palace ( 4 years olds that is?) and do you know if they do lessons at the weekends?

Yes, the training pool is less than 1 metre deep (I think). My daughter started lessons at 3 and could touch the floor, just.

And yes, we go to lessons on a Sunday, I believe they operate 7 days a week.

East2 - just get your husband to take your 17 month old to the pool with him to have a splasharound as this will get your ds used to anything more formal.
