I wonder if anyone can help.  My age 16 child has been forced to leave school due to prolonged ill health, onset after Covid.
It’s incredibly isolating and I was wondering if there are any local clubs (art perhaps) for her age group, or just meet ups in the area with other children out of school/ home educated who would be keen to meet.

Anything very active is out of the question- so sports wouldn’t be possible.

I’d be very interested in speaking to other parents in my position about how they manage.

Not sure what the age range is but Woodcraft Folk meet at the East Dulwich Community Centre in Darrell Road on a Tuesday evening.

Woodcraft Folk have groups for all ages.

My daughter and (now teenage) granddaughters are all very involved, but not in this area.

It's a very friendly community.

However they do have camps sometimes, so some of the activities may not be suitable.

    • What jab?  I had them many years ago to little or no effect.  I never went for the allergy testing where they jab you with various pollens to work out what sets you off.   Rely of tablets nowadays, so much better than the old days of piriton which sent me to sleep. June use to be hell from mid teens.
