Flight on a Dreamliner 787

I'm due to fly on a Dreamliner next week & feel very anxious after the recent tragedy of Air India. Am I being silly ? Has anyone else been on a Dreamliner before?

Yes, the planes would be grounded by now if there was a major issue.  Separately and nothing to do with your post I've heard of casual or full on racist conspiracy theories as it was an Air India plane that crashed.  Not sure why we can't just wait until the out of the investigation.

Yes, been on several over the last 12 years. They are one of the safest planes ever built. The Dreamliner has been in service since 2011 and currently about 1,150 are in operation every day. Safe as houses.

The Dreamliner has an impeccable service history, you are more likely to get mugged on the way to the airport than having any issue with your flight, that's how safe it is!  Have a great trip.
