Does anyone cook at home anymore?

Of course they do, watching cookery shows and buying cook books is a national pastime.

However you raise a good point that some people claim they are time poor and end up eating out / takeaways as sometimes a quick macciedee is cheaper and easier than making a quick nutrious family meal.

However to put it in balance, not many people have the knowledge, confidence and time to cook Persian so good luck to team persepolis on this venture.

I remember when I was about 6/7 and I threw a tantrum because I demanded more stuff from the sweet shops, so my Uncle threw my newly brought K-Zone Magazine up on the roof of Old Barcelona. I had was devastated because I had been waiting all day to buy the magazine. Oh well, that'll teach me for being greedy 😄

Get up the scaffolding and see if it's still there 😉

    • On your last point jazzer, no. I've been reading around the various aspects of them today.  The majority of them appear to be not much more than whey obtained from milk. That makes them about 75-80% protein. Have  a look at the H&B products.  They list all constituents. On the 18+ issue, OP, I suspect that what you noticed was probably at most a recommendation that they not be used by under-18s.  Even then, I only came across it on one website, by chance, when seeking for evidence of prohibitions:  https://ultimatesupsg.com/blogs/nutrition/whey-protein-should-individuals-under-the-age-of-18-take-whey-protein-to-build-muscle.
    • Simple question, why is a 16 year old taking protein powders? If they want to build up muscle, try using weights in the gym, doing it naturally.  Presumably  these powers are not natural products and more likely to be synthetic materials?
    • tbh not impressed. I review restaurants and decided to give them benefit of the doubt that it was an off day and didn't write it up. There's a new restaurant by the Plough which I think is Turkish (where the strange French restaurant was many years ago). Planning to try that soon, if anyone has been let me know what you think./
