Where is the nearest landfill? Can’t use a recycling center

Our previous tenants left some ‘garden furniture’ which was screwed together pallets, painted green. The recycling center does not accept pallets, so I need to find somewhere that does. I have two car loads of them. Any help appreciated.

I think there are companies that collect pallets, have a search for used pallet collection

They accept wood, just take them apart

Somebody might want them if you offer them on here or somewhere like Gumtree.

The problem is they are painted and screwed together badly so they are not proper pallets any more. I will chance bringing them to recycling center first and see

Someone may be able to make use of them eg on an allotment or community garden, even if painted etc 

Definitely worth offering then free on here first (unless you need to get them off your hands ASAP).

I brought 3 big pallets to the recycling centre on Old Kent Road last month and had no problem dumping them in the wood pile, so hopefully you won't have an issue either.
