Harris Reception new joiners

Hi everyone, 

Our daughter is starting reception at Harris Primary in September. I'm trying to track down other parents with Harris reception kids so I can arrange a class get together in advance. Harris have not set up any Whatsapp group etc before the start of term and say this is not possible, which seems different to what other schools in the area are doing. My daughter doesn't know anyone else starting at Harris and is feeling sad about leaving her nursery friends, so would love to start meeting other people and reassuring her about the great friends she'll make very soon!
