Museums good for 5 year olds?

My daughter (5) has an inset day coming up- she has asked to go to a museum, we ve been to nat hist and science recently - where else would be good to visit? V&a?

Museum of Childhood is fab. Brilliant for you too!

Docklands Museum is very nice and has the soft play, if not too young for her.

The Horniman is a lovely museum for children, as is the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.

I'd second the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich - we've had some fabulous trips there (and you can have a great day if you also do the Cutty Sark - fun to explore - and the Observatory which has an excellent kids show in the planetarium called Space Safari)

My youngest loves the Museum of Transport. It's quite expensive, but the ticket gives entry for a year. (Luckily, as she nags us to go there on a fairly regular basis.)
