Andrew S
Hi all, I have just received a fine for driving through this junction on the recent bank holiday. I would have thought that bank holidays were treated as weekends with no restrictions. Does anybody have any information on this? Cancerian
Unfortunately Southwark do not recognise Bank Holidays in their traffic schemes. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/366610-driving-restrictions-on-burbage-rdturney-rd-junction-during-bank-holidays/#findComment-1719187 Share on other sites
malumbu
Nor do many other local authorities. It's a fact if life as a motorist. malumbu
If you want a 1:1 with the OP then DM them. This is a forum. You made a comment about Southwark. I pointed out it is common practice 1 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/366610-driving-restrictions-on-burbage-rdturney-rd-junction-during-bank-holidays/#findComment-1719199 Share on other sites
first mate
Nonetheless, if people wish to discuss that on here it is not for you to tell them they cannot, unless you are now an admin? Dogkennelhillbilly
Then if you want to be pissy about it, OP is off topic because it's about a junction in Dulwich Village. Anyway...the sign says the restrictions apply Monday to Friday. It doesn't make exceptions for bank holidays or mention weekends. It is what it is, unfortunately.
