PYTCHLEY ROAD, SE22: ROUTE P13 towards New Cross Sainsbury's is on diversion via Dog Kennel Hill, Grove Vale, East Dulwich Road, Peckham Rye and Rye Lane due to an emergency services incident. Buses will not serve stops from 'Pythchley Road' to 'Blenheim Grove'.

Spotted this at a bus stop. 
 

Badly parked cars can negatively impact so much on bus journeys. Hopefully the offending vehicle will be towed away soon.

They are quick enough to issue tickets why can they not tow it away. How many people waited at bus stops for no bus.

Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.

The other side of P13 drivers being risk averse is that I  have been on P13s at night that speeded (?sped?) down Underhill Road so fast I seriously thought they might crash.

Does any one know if the P13 towards New Cross is back on its proper route. Cannot find any information. New would be much appreciated

It is back to its proper route.

The bus was diverted due to an incident on Pytchley Road yesterday afternoon.

comes and goes as it’s pleases , a nightmare, either there is no bus at all or 2 going together at the same time 😑🙄

The 185 is often the same.

But that's why buses sometimes (and annoyingly) stop to "regulate the service".

To be fair, it's often due to traffic conditions. If there is not much traffic, the one behind catches up with the one in front.
