Found on here after I got myself in a pickle yesterday with beeping smoke alarms and this lovely chap has sorted them at the crack of dawn today! He has also sorted broken bathroom fan. Highly recommended tradesman and very reasonably priced.
Proper old fashioned service!

I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work.

He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan).

His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.

Couldn't agree more with these great reviews for Paul and his colleague Damian. We had an issue in which our earth and live wires had been installed the wrong way and Damian fixed it quicky and for a really reasonable price. Would definitely use again

Paul Edgley sent round Damian to assess my electrics following a fuse failure.  He came the next day, I had a quote that evening, and a replacement modern metal fusebox was completed a few days later. Damian arrived on time, worked hard and was done in 4 hours.  He sent the certificate to the council and provided a copy.  Quote, invoice and service all very smooth on Whatsapp, would recommend.  Works out of Dartford but does a lot of work round here so availability is good - Edgley Contracting - 07802 627967. Great electrician!

    • As the original restaurant  Persepolis is in Peckham, I imagine they mean the other end of ED to Peckham. Which people getting that update would understand, as they would have been  receiving previous updates from Persepolis.

    • Why don’t you give us full post code…half of a post code totally useless .. in fact full address. Other end of ED… what other end?
    • I have a sofa of similar age, which used to sag, and I spent a stupid amount of time with the supposed 'DIY' solutions, which are all a waste of time and money. Then I woke up and realised that it can't be rocket science. When you say that the springs have gone, do you know what sort of springs you have? If they are zig zag (sometimes called serpentine) springs then it's an incredibly cheap and easy thing to fix by anyone with a hammer, screwdrivers, possibly pliers, and new springs which can be bought from https://www.jamiltonupholstery.co.uk/product/sinuous-springs-with-fixing-nails/ Obviously you can also get them on that well known website that we're all trying to avoid.  If they are box springs, then you may be able to replace a single spring, or you may have to change the whole unit, still DIYable but you may need a friend to help you. You may even find that a spring has simply come loose and it just needs clipping back into place. Access to the springs may mean undoing the upholstery under the cushions, or it may be that you have to turn the sofa upside down. The feet usually just unscrew and then you can take the dust cover off the bottom to see what's what. There are loads of YouTube videos to help but please DM me if you need any help.
