Highly recommended - Lee Barber, handyman

We recently asked a local guy to fit a new bathroom in our rental property, and it was a complete disaster. He was clearly an utter cowboy, with no plumbing qualifications and he made a mess of the entire room.

Happily, a friend recommended Lee Barber - a handyman and carpenter she had previously employed to refit her bathroom and to build shelves in her front room.

Lee came to see the flat the very next day, and started work almost immediately to repair the damage done by the previous guy. He had quite a task on his hands to sort the room out, and acted in a completely transparent and honest way to inform us about what he found, and the remedial work required.

We cannot praise Lee highly enough for his professionalism and the quality of his work. Having been let down so badly previously, it was reassuring to find someone who we could trust.

Please do contact Lee if you have any work that needs doing - 07939 110874. We will definitely use Lee again in the future!

    • They’ve backed away from pretending they produce their own goods recently. That claim sat at the centre of the misdirection for years. They’ve now accepted they can’t sustain it, so they’re beginning to highlight the local independent bakeries whose products they actually sell. The business is essentially a courier model running on a slim margin.
    • Another sparrow hawk visor to our cherry tree at the weekend.  Our robin survived, but we may be a sparrow down.     any thoughts on bird feeders & bird baths with the current bird flu?  I try to wash out the bird bath most days when at home, but not on the 3 days in a row that I’m in the office & the bird feeders rather less regularly. Would it be better not to have at all (as my partner thinks)?
    • OOOPS. My daughter just had to pay a five pound fine. I hadn't put a stamp on it. I remember wondering whether to use a  first or second class stamp,  and clearly when I posted it I still hadn't decided (but sadly didn't notice). I feel really bad for suspecting a postie might have  opened it.  Sorry posties.
