Camberwell has been placed as number 4 in the coolest neighbourhoods to live IN THE WORLD, so I wouldn't give it too much time 🫠

As much as I don’t mind Camberwell, 4th coolest place in the world to live? I just spat my tea out. Someone’s been on the whacky backy if they’re thinking that.

These lists are constantly appearing in various places, and they change every time.

I sometimes suspect that they are written by  estate agents trying to get a rise in house prices!

Six months ago it was Peckham. Twelve months ago Brixton was where the cool people lived. Next month it'll probably be New Cross or Deptford. Cool Catford is a cert once Deptford is no longer cool.

I'm pleased for East Dulwich and agree it's great. Largely because of the amazing amenities and the genuinely decent community here.
