The Rose - it really is a decent pub!

The Rose is quickly becoming one of my favourites for a drink, its always really quiet though. I wonder whether its past reputation is doing a number on it, IME it has changed MASSIVELY. The bar staff are lovely and its a nice place to hang out - no club nights, no punters fighting after last orders....

Anyway, just wanted to give it a bit of a heads up - try it (again) you might be pleasantly surprised......

Forest Hill Road, opposite the end of Mundania Road. Last stop on the 63 bus route and the pub used to be called the Forest Hill Tavern, which is what the bus stop is still known as!
