Unfortunately the food at The Plough is not good, unless it has massively improved lately.

Franklins is doing Christmas meals.

They aren't cheap though. But I don't think any nice Christmas meal round here will be cheap, and probably some not very nice ones won't be cheap either.

A lot better than I was, out of bed, still not great, thanks for asking!

Back on topic, C123 if you can't find anything within your price range, you could always go out for a non Christmas lunch and take your own crackers (are they still a thing?), party hats (ditto) and a sprig of holly to put on top of your dessert.

And a bottle of Baileys or advocaat.You might have to hide that.
