Hi all

Hoping to take a week's break (in broadest sense of the word, lol) in the canaries next month with a 2.5 yr old and 12 wk old. Have previously been to roca Nivaria in Tenerife but fancy somewhere different. Happy with self catering or hotel, needs to have heated pool as am not sure it'll be warm enough otherwise at that time of year... Any recommendations v gratefully received!

Thanks

Is all-inc rather than self catering, but we went to Sensatori Tenerife in June & it was lovely. Kids pool is heated, but others are acclimatised which apparently is typical for most outdoor pools now to reduce bacterial growth (yuk!).

Amazing entertainment/kids facilities & the person who originally recommended it to us went Oct time :-)

Another vote for the Gran Melia (Sensatori) in Tenerife here - we have not gone with kids yet (I'm pregnant with my first) but if you book direct you can stay in the family area of 'Red Level' which is their super luxurious bit and well worth the extra cash in my opinion. Clarins toileteries? Why yes, thanks very much.
Ooh, didn't realise there were family rooms in that bit - when we were there it was strictly adults only - unsure how relaxed you could be with young kids in that bit (plus not being able to use the nearest pool!). Am v jealous of the clarins toiletries though!!

    • But I think there are striking similarities between the way Lambeth has managed the Brockwell events and residents therein and the way Southwark has with Gala..... It's how it pastes when you take text from another website (BBC) and is a good way to show that these are someone else's words and not something written by the author!
    • Do none of you people want anyone to experience joy anywhere near your houses? I've been a local resident for nearly 10 years, and I love that London feels vibrant and alive in the summer and there are festivals and young people enjoying themselves.    Think everyone here needs to take a chill pill
    • Thread is on the Gala.  Some of you can't help but join in on everywhere else because it suits you.  Sad that some of you get such joy.  And one of you is using large font, it's akin to shouting.
    • Switzerland? I normally go to Rome.
