Carpet Fitter Recommendation

As I struggled to find a carpet fitter (I was trying to avoid getting ripped off by the likes of Carpetright), I thought someone might find use for a recommendation. I had got a quote from someone who came recommended a number of times on the ED Forum, but after waiting a month for the quote to come back, it came in at a ridiculously high price - ?1000 more than I ended up paying. I won't name this person as don't feel it would be fair.

Alan Quye came around to measure up and give a quote on a Sunday, as was available to fit the next week. He brought round samples of different types of carpet as I had asked him if he could supply the carpet and underlay, and when the carpet was laid to some tricky stairs and hallway, did the job brilliantly, without fuss, at an excellent price.

I can't recommend him highly enough.

  Seen lots on Bawdale Road this week. Even seen them going into the roof space of a couple of houses. They land on the wall just under the gutters and crawl up behind the board the gutter attached to.

  That is quite an offensive thing to say. It may not be the best but I am OK with it. That is the problem with social media, it gives license for people to share their toxic views. What is your job? I would not be surprised if you were far better paid than the receptionists. I'll have a look at how you are doing at work and maybe accuse you of being lazy and useless. Last time I visited I asked where my repeat prescription was, requested over the NHS app which is OK if not startling. They had done it pronto, but they were waiting for a delivery over the road. Maybe Day Lewis are lazy and useless....

  This GP practice is still dire unfortunately. The receptionists are lazy and useless.
