Hello, are you still looking for someone to do ironing and if so are you on the Nunhead/Peckham/Camberwell side of East Dulwich???.

I am returning to work after 7 months off with a broken leg and foot and am interested in any kind of work. I am excellent at ironing. I spent 5 years as the laundry manager at the prestigious Morden College residential home in SE3.

I am an older person who was born on Telegraph Hill and have lived all my life in Telegraph Hill and New Cross.

After a lifetime of careers as a Nursing Auxiliary, Librarian, Teaching Assistant, Met Police PCSO and Detention Officer, Residential Home Laundry Manager and RHS Gardener, I have run my own cleaning/gardening business for the last few years, working mostly in Dulwich. I have excellent references. I am CRB checked and have Public Liability Insurance. My extensive CV is available via email.

I have given up driving and I am now working closer to home, within bus/walking distance of my home in New Cross.

I am excellent at Cleaning and Ironing, Gardening- particularly small/medium hedge cutting and pruning roses but no longer do heavy digging, Pet sitting, I have Child care certificates, I enjoy office and reception work. I have an office and the equipment to do office work in my own home.

I charge ?8-10ph for cleaning house; Hedge cutting/front garden makeovers start at ?5.00. I can also do 'End of Tenancy cleaning' for bargain prices starting at ?30(flats)/?50(houses) and can provide the recognised estate agent receipt and cleaning inventory. I am well known to Winkworths New Cross. I can do regular, one off, fortnightly, pre and post party/guest work and can work evenings and weekends when required.

My contact numbers are 0207 358 988 or 07436816954 or email [email protected]

Many thanks, Anne Maple

    • Please consider any security issues associated with someone helping. Does the person have good intentions? Do they know what they are doing? Will they require your passwords or screen unlock. Will they set them for you and consequently know them? Will they store them for you? Are you sharing passwords you cannot change immediately after or are used in other places? Will they recommend apps that potentially open up security or privacy issues you do not know about. It is a bit of a minefield depending on what help you need 🙂
    • I think it's outrageous that he thinks he can do this. This is about reducing waiting lists. How dare he seek to fundamentally change the judicial system to address administrative failings (for which he is responsible). Courts are notoriously slow. Judges are slow. Perhaps look at WHY there are so many cases - what's going on? is crime going through the roof? Why not more judges, why not look at how court admin is managed?  We had one judge - over retirement age, who only worked once a week (possibly) and was slow, frail and no idea about emails etc. no sense of urgency. I actually complained which did hurry things up.  This is not a dynamic private company who wants to get things done - it takes time, it's a complicated and thorough process. RIGHTLY SO.  As least he's not lifting the lid on free legal aid and increasing the tax payers funding of it.
