Froglander Posted Monday at 19:41 Share Posted Monday at 19:41 Wondering if anyone has used this delivery service and if so, how was it? Have read mixed reviews. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/ Share on other sites
ck124 Posted Tuesday at 16:02 Share Posted Tuesday at 16:02 Yup, not bad at all! Delivery wasn't sharp on time, but given its done by bike it was overall a great service. I was also refunded right away for applejuice which smelled like it had gone off. Happy customer here. Have read mixed reviews. https://butterandcrust.com/pages/home-u2 Adding that in case I'm not the only person who didn't know what they deliver! Now I know, sadly I'm not really into "artisan breakfast goods", not do I want to double my weight 🤣 I'm considering using a fruit and veg delivery service again, because I don't eat enough veg these days. I used to use Oddbox, but the quality deteriorated badly unfortunately (it was always wonky etc veg, which was fine, but I think they must have changed their sources or their quality control or something). NewWave Posted Tuesday at 16:59 Share Posted Tuesday at 16:59 Thanks @Sue I had no idea what they delivered. Personally I just dont get why anyone living in London would bother with something like this, We can all pop down the road and buy bread, pastries etc and know what we're getting.. Just seems a bit of a yuppie fad and waste of money. But thats just my opinion! 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/#findComment-1735915 Share on other sites
pbg212 Posted Tuesday at 18:21 Share Posted Tuesday at 18:21 We used them for quite a while. Was great when working a LOT, to be able to have fresh bread, coffeee beans and a pastry on saturday morning. Once I started working less it was less of an issue and I pick things up from the shops. It was great service, they were really responsive when things went wrong. Would recommend them. Don't you want a perfect bundle, New Wave? It's CURATED! 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/#findComment-1735932 Share on other sites
airellemarie Posted Tuesday at 19:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 19:14 I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well). Delivered by bike. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/#findComment-1735939 Share on other sites

Reading The words 'Artisan' and 'Curated' when refering to my 'Breakfast Bundle' frankly make me feel a bit..🤢 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/#findComment-1735940 Share on other sites
Monkey Posted Wednesday at 04:37 Share Posted Wednesday at 04:37 Really good service. Good bread. And very accommodating when we had to outwit our clever resident fox. Han92-ED
I’ve been ordering from Butter & Crust now for 5+ years and it’s a brilliant service. The bread is fantastic as are the selection of pastries, milk & butter. The apple juice is also incredible and you can change your subscription to what suits you - I opt for every other week ☺️ I have a voucher if anyone wants to try, you get £10 off your next order with: HANNAHM_2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/#findComment-1736172 Share on other sites
Angelina
I’ve asked them where they get their bread from, or if they bake it, and they won’t answer. Which is disappointing 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/373563-butter-and-crust/#findComment-1736174 Share on other sites
