Has anyone had any joy contacting Helen Hayes out MP?

I'm in the middle of the civil service pension crisis with no pension for 4 months and counting. No access to the much publicised loans either. I have emailed Helen Hayes several times. It took her 6 weeks to contact Capita on my behalf but no follow up, no reply, she didn't attend the Westminster Hall debate about the issue either. Lots of other MPs are speaking and acting on behalf of their constituents but I've had no joy. Has anyone else please? What works to get help from Helen Hayes?

When she was our MP before the boundaries changed, she was always really helpful and quick to reply to emails, so I'm very surprised to hear this.

Have you tried other sources of help eg Citizens Advice Bureau or whatever union you were in when you were working (assuming you were in one)?

Thank you. Yes I have but this is a matter for government and I was rather hoping she'd be supportive in the debates and discussions and follow up. But nothing unfortunately

Helen Hayes has represented Dulwich and West Norwood since the boundary change in 2024.

The OP said Helen had already contacted Capita on their behalf, so I'm guessing she is their MP, otherwise she would have directed them to the appropriate person (unless she was particularly keen to take on extra work!)

Well, I hope she can help, although it seems the Government needs to get its act together.
I’ve been following this story in the news and it must be pretty awful for you. When she was my MP (before the boundary changes), her office responded quickly on the couple of occasions I raised issues  with her.

She's responded, but I'm sure I read something in the Guardian consumer advice column. Might be some pointers if you're stuck

The Commons Public Accounts Committee questioned both the CEO and MD of Capita yesterday, at their last meeting before the recess:  https://committees.parliament.uk/event/25889/formal-meeting-oral-evidence-session/.  In October they'd already expressed concern that Capita might not  be able to efficiently retake over responsibility for the administration within the timescale.

Given the joint statement recently issued by Capita and the Cabinet Office I'm not sure that contacting an MP is going to add much, other than venting what I think most of us can probably appreciate of what those affected are likely  to be thinking and feeling; unless perhaps, and I hope it's not needed, to report on deficiencies in the immediate rescue actions.
