Dear all,

I am looking for a school place in east dulwich for my daughter. The most accessible school in terms of catchment area is the green goose.

I was wondering what people were thinking of the school? I am particularly interested in testimonies from existing parents.

Many thanks in advance

I have children in Y2 and Y4, they love school and are thriving. The school is a national support school (ie considered so good that it mentors less successful schools). It is ambitious, nurturing, friendly and vibrant. There is an open morning on Tuesday 5th, come and see for yourself. There are usually parents of current students on hand to chat after the tour.

What year group are you hoping to join?

I'm very happy with the school - my son is in year 4 and doing very well. In addition to the strong academics at the school, I'm particuarly pleased that his talent in art and music is recognised and able to be developed by a full-time art teacher (a art school graduate) and full-time music teacher (practicing musician and graduate of trinity college of music)

There is a tour for prospective parents tomorrow morning - Tuesday 5th November. Come to the school by 9:15am (prompt start so come early if you can). After the tour, prospective parents can meet existing parents over tea and coffee and get a parents persepective on the school.

    • Agree! The instructors are great and classes are non judgemental, I've done classes with ages ranging from 18-70's and sizes 6-20.... not pricey and good fun as well as good excercise

    • Do you mean they are chopping branches from trees in your garden? I would definitely get advice on that eg from the neighbourhood police. I'm not familiar with the law, but that sounds like trespass to me, even if they are not actually standing in your garden. People are entitled to chop off branches etc which are overhanging their own garden, but I am pretty sure they are  not allowed to lean over and chop off anything in yours, whether they dislike it or not.
