Looking for a reliable and experienced housekeeper to carry out all general cleaning duties and also some time spent doing laundry.

Large 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom house hence 8 hours per week. Time can be completed all in one day, or happy to split the cleaning and laundry days? Open to offers of availability!

PM me if intrested!

Hello,

a few messages below yours, I recommended our cleaning lady Oskana. She would be available for 8 hours a week. She has been with us for two years and I couldn't recommend her more warmly.

She not only cleans very thoroughly, but also tidies up the whole house. Even my parents complemented me on how much tidier our house was after she started :-)

Despite her youth (she is under 30), she is very experienced in housekeeping. She does laundry at other houses, and also keeps an eye on the children. Both my kids love having her around. She is very pleasant, quiet, and friendly. She is extremely reliable and, when I need to change the time, very flexible. Whenever I need to reach her, she answers her mobile promptly. She comes from the Ukraine and her English is good.

This is all that comes to mind for now. If you would like more information, please pm me. If you want to contact her directly, her mobile number is 07878 184319

Kind regards,

Eva

Hello, are you still looking for someone to do housework and if so are you on the Nunhead/Peckham/Camberwell side of East Dulwich???.

I am returning to work after 7 months off with a broken leg and foot and am interested in any kind of work. I am very experienced at all kinds of housework and laundry in particular having run the laundry at MOrden College the prestidious residential home in SE3. I am an older person who was born on Telegraph Hill and have lived all my life in Telegraph Hill and New Cross.

After a lifetime of careers as a Nursing Auxiliary, Librarian, Teaching Assistant, Met Police PCSO and Detention Officer, Residential Home Laundry Manager and RHS Gardener, I have run my own cleaning/gardening business for the last few years, working mostly in Dulwich. I have excellent references. I am CRB checked and have Public Liability Insurance. My extensive CV is available via email.

I have given up driving and I am now working closer to home, within bus/walking distance of my home in New Cross.

I am excellent at Cleaning and Ironing, and also do Gardening- particularly small/medium hedge cutting and pruning roses but no longer do heavy digging, Pet sitting, I have Child care certificates, I enjoy office and reception work. I have an office and the equipment to do office work in my own home.

I charge ?8-10ph for cleaning house; Hedge cutting/front garden makeovers start at ?5.00. I can also do 'End of Tenancy cleaning' for bargain prices starting at ?30(flats)/?50(houses) and can provide the recognised estate agent receipt and cleaning inventory. I am well known to Winkworths New Cross. I can do regular, one off, fortnightly, pre and post party/guest work and can work evenings and weekends when required.

My contact numbers are 0207 358 988 or 07436816954 or email [email protected]

Many thanks, Anne Maple

    • what's scandalous is our government allowing it. The should and can impose fines and order works which would lead to TW becoming bankrupt, at which point it can be taken back into the public domain.
    • The privatisation of water is just ridiculous. I have the Safer seas and rivers service app on my phone (recommend it if you like to swim outside) and the regular (weekly) sewage dumps highlighted all along the south coast is just outrageous.

You make a fair point, but those legal channels are available for them to recover their repair, and legal, costs and, as I said: "It's up to them if they [Southwark] want to do that, of course." There's three or four grands worth of Cat N write-off, wrapped round a post there (more, if it's broken down for parts) causing problems. If they can't be arsed sorting that, I'm not holding my breath. Even Southwark couldn't screw their numbers up enough to make shifting the post back through circa 15 degrees more than a couple of grand, so there's a drink in it for everyone. It's a bit 'leany' just now, yeah, but I haven't noticed anyone having to limbo under it to get to Superdrugs. Or, they could make a feature of it. It's about the only thing that would get me back into The Bishop since the many dark afternoons of the soul I spent with Clarence*, the world's most depressed Weimaraner. *RIP big fella. You know exactly where the Green Cross Code Man was in 1973: less than a hundred yards away, on North Cross Road. https://youtu.be/C-XwVVMiCO4?si=rt8kQllev0t1Lgdi For some years, I found it quite difficult to go into The Forrester's after many long afternoons of the soul with Dave Prowse* (The Green Cross Code Man). *RIP big fella. You were always a great listener.
