helenlaker@southwark
Once again, the councillors will be discussing the matters of the borough, at Harris Academy, Peckham on 27 November. They will also be debating about Local Business and Enterprise in Southwark.Do you have a comment to post which I can report back to the Councillors? Here are a couple of questions you could consider...- what activities or projects would you like to see more of in town centres and high streets to help them grow and thrive?- how can the residents and the council work together to make better places that help business flourish? ????
Parking restrictions genuinely aimed at helping traffic flow rather than revenue generation would be an obvious one. Nearly killed off both Walworth Road and Pechkham Rye (and certainly changed the shopping/shops there) by effectively saying CAR DRIVERS NOT WELCOME TO SHOP HERE Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38422-local-business-and-enterprise/#findComment-695987 Share on other sites

uncleglen
Yes- ditto the anti-car zeal. Got a ticket in Walworth Road once- never been back since.
