Garden designer available

I'm a local garden designer based in Gellatly Road and working across south-east London and Kent. If your garden is in need of a redesign or some good planting ideas, please get in touch for a quote.

First I will visit you for a consultation to find out what you're looking for (low maintenance/colourful/fruit and veg/trees/screening/child-friendly etc), then I will provide a rough design. When you're happy with the design, we can go ahead and order plants and materials.

Just wanted to add a recommendation - our garden needed a lot of work after we had had two years of building work done, and Franckie came along to discuss requirements and produced a plan very quickly. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of useful suggestions, but also takes your own ideas into account (or sensibly advises against them!)

Franckie also has some very efficient landscape gardening contacts who sorted out our patio and also came in to deliver the plants and do all the planting in accordance with her design.

It's quite exciting to see all the new plants in bud now and the garden coming into its own.

    • The other side of P13 drivers being risk averse is that I  have been on P13s at night that speeded (?sped?) down Underhill Road so fast I seriously thought they might crash.
    • Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.
    • I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere.
