Just had our chimney swept again, using the same guys as last year. NACS certified and the young chap that came round I think is the heir to the family business. Very friendly, even remembered that we had some US visitors here last time. 07930345245 is the mobile and we are happy that it is all done cleanly and safely and they arrived on time.

  I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

  Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
