Does anyone know why this is still empty?? I have a dream..... a dream that the people of Peckham Rye/East Dulwich club together and create the BEST CAFE EVER!! Everyone is welcome (that includes buggies), the coffee is superb, the food is delicious, seasonal and locally sourced, the service is prompt and speedy. If anyone else who has/wants to work in the catering business feels the same then lets get together and see if we can't somehow raise the funds to make this happen!

It's still empty because they want ?35,000 rent a year and ?7,000 in rates.

That's a lot of coffees to sell !

I can see that space being great too, along similar lines to you - but sadly the rent & business rates make it a pretty difficult prospect. Turnover has to be high to make it feasible.
