  1. Hi there, I'm expecting my second mid Feb and would love to meet up.x
  2. I took my daughter to Blue Tit on Rye Lane for her first haircut and they were fantastic - so patient. I would highly recommend. www.bluetitlondon.com
  3. I am getting really annoyed with some of the nurseries that my daughter is on the waiting list for (some of which at the cost of ?40) who told me at the time the list was 1-2 years long and has now somehow become 3 years??!! This is not on!
  4. Does anyone know why this is still empty?? I have a dream..... a dream that the people of Peckham Rye/East Dulwich club together and create the BEST CAFE EVER!! Everyone is welcome (that includes buggies), the coffee is superb, the food is delicious, seasonal and locally sourced, the service is prompt and speedy. If anyone else who has/wants to work in the catering business feels the same then lets get together and see if we can't somehow raise the funds to make this happen!
  5. Best salon in the area by far! Really lovely friendly people who know about hair.
  6. So lovely to meet everyone today! If you couldn't make it, send me your email address in a PM then everyone can be contactable on an email circular for future meets. Ali x
  7. Hi all, Really looking forward to our meet up tomorrow. Have just thought, if it's another scorcher tomorrow might be more sensible to meet under the big tree for some much needed shade? For those that can't make it, I will update this thread if we arrange another one. xx
  8. Haha - RenF - you and I must be psychic food sisters!
  9. Houmous and oatcakes/crudites, nuts and dried fruit, air popped popcorn, vegetable crisps, fruit salad.x
  10. Pebbles - how lovely are you?! East2 - Will post if we do more meet ups, will be great to meet you. x
  11. Great - Have had some pm's from people as well so we should try to arrange a meet up. How about 3pm next Tuesday on the grass in front of the cafe in Peckham Rye park? Hopefully the sun will still be shining!
  12. Hi forumites, I have a 14 month old daughter and have decided to stay at home with her for a while longer. All my mum friends have gone back to work and I thought it would be fun to arrange a meet up for parents who are around during the day in the area. If this is of interest to any else please reply below. x
  13. You should be OK at 9.15 as the scrum has died down a bit by then - if not, sharpen those elbows!x
  14. I have just visited the Treehouse in Brixton and cannot get over what a great idea it is: http://www.treehouseworkandplay.com/ The creche is better kitted out than most nurseries I've been to with a climbing wall, ball pit, trampoline etc. It is all new and lovely and the staff are so nice. I didn't think that I would find a solution to be able to do some work without being too far away from my daughter but this is just perfect. I'm writing this so more people can go and check it out as they are so new and need support.
