We own a boxer and a staff/collie. I am looking for anyone around London that may be selling Dachshund puppies or know someone that is. My email is [email protected] if you are interested. Thank you. pommie
try rescue centres that specialise in that breed, you may be lucky and find one Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/38673-looking-for-dachshund-puppies/#findComment-697914 Share on other sites
giggirl
Ask the man in the pet shop on Northcross Road. He has two Dacshunds and I think he got them from a rescue centre so he may be able to point you in the right direction. zeban
It is unfortunately (or fortunately for the dogs themselves) very difficult to find pure breed Dachshunds at a rescue centre, and nigh impossible at that to find puppies. Annette Curtain
They're very cute, but have you ever owned oneJust about every one iv'e met or been near has been neurotic and/or bitten meI blame the short legsJack Dee owned one (and that one bit me btw). Mind you I did chase it around Wandsworth common and then rugby tackled it to get it on a lead. Annette Curtain
In my defence, I was chasing/heading off that dog. It escaped from the house and was heading flat out towards the road, a skip lorry was on a collision path should said dog run into the road.Lucky for me i'd been running as part of a fitness regime, so managed to out run the dog and head it off, making it turn around at the crucial moment.Seeing a Dachshund's little legs give in as I pursued it was my moment, so I dived and caught it & saved its little life. Though the dog didn't appreciate my valiant efforts and proceeded to bite me with some vigour. As I fixed the dog to a purse string I was wearing, I noticed a woman with very obviously enhanced breasts sunbathing topless. The dog had stopped biting me by that point.
