But a quick google doesn't show anything and I don't want to reply to number in case it "verifies" my number

it is owned by Marvellous Media, a seemingly reputable ad agency and the number has been previously used by a Peugeot campaign. A bot more Googling found that these guys in Dorset might be the source...
